For 25 years, System Development Services, Inc., has stood for quality information technology service in its market area in East Central Illinois. Founded in 1984 by Steven Schallert and now co-owned by Schallert and Doug Collins, SDS is the “IT Department” for many on our long list of business clients and is synonymous in our area with technological expertise, prompt service and programming innovation.

SDS began as a software development business and still devotes a good part of its efforts to devising solutions that meet the unique specifications of our clients’ businesses. But we haven’t been in touch with business needs all these years for nothing; from our in-depth knowledge of our clients we have developed several software products that meet common business needs and cost our clients considerably less than if we were starting from scratch.

True to our philosophy of “eating our own food,” our own web site runs on SDS SiteManager, a web site “content management” system that takes all the pain out of developing and hosting a company web site and keeping its content fresh and up-to-date. As one client recently said, “It’s my dream web site,” and it doesn’t require your staff to know HTML or any of the other alphabet-soup acronyms of web technology.

Our other products are SDS TimeKeeper, a web-based time-clock system, and SDS Tracker, a client-server application for customer relationship management suitable for any business that needs to keep better track of it clients, its customer service and its sales opportunities.
